Position Overview:
Progressive Mechanical is looking for a dependable and safety-conscious Driver to support our Bay City operations. This role involves transporting tools, materials, and equipment using a variety of company vehicles including stake trucks, semi-trucks, and trailers.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver and pick up materials and equipment between job sites, vendors, and our fabrication shop
- Ensure all loads are properly secured and comply with safety standards
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Keep accurate delivery logs and follow routing instructions
- Communicate with field and shop teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Assist in the yard or shop when needed
Requirements:
- Valid CDL – Class A
- Clean driving record
- Experience with stake trucks, trailers, or semis preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and attention to safety
